One third of our members are children under 18 years of age, and we have a range of groups which meet for children and young people. Our normal Sunday service is from 10.45am till 12 noon at St John’s Park church, on the corner of Bernard St. and Cricket Inn Road. The first Sunday in the month is a Family service where all adults and children stay in the main service.
On the last Sunday in the month there is a special Kids Church for all children and young people aged 3 – 13 years. This meets in the church hall for the duration of the normal Sunday service.
On other Sundays the children and young people stay in the service for the first 15 minutes, and then go to their groups:
Shinies for children aged 3 to 6 years
Visionaries For children aged 7 to 13 years
On every Sunday there is a crèche for
babies and toddlers under 3 years of age.
If your child would like to attend any of these groups, please bring them along on a Sunday morning. If you do not wish to stay in the service yourself please ensure you inform someone that your child is present unaccompanied and leave an emergency contact number before leaving. For safety reasons children under the age of 8 cannot be left unaccompanied.
